Cronin & JJ72 singer Mark Greaney release Valentine's Day single
'Something's Got a Hold of My Heart', the cover of Gene Pitney's '60s classic, is available to stream and download as of today.
Irish band Cronin have teamed up with former JJ72 singer Mark Greaney for their homage to the late Gene Pitney.
The collaboration is the result of a drunken night's chat and a mutual appreciation for one of the most unique voices of all time.
The video for the song is taken from the 1964 Edna O' Brien film The Girl with Green Eyes, which starred Peter Finch and Rita Tushingham and was filmed in Dublin City.
The song is available to stream as of today. It is taken from Cronin's forthcoming album The First Kiss of Love, which will get its UK release date in late April.
