WATCH: Premiere of Bayonets' video for 'The Old Coast'
If sumptuous goth pop is your bag, you're in for a treat!
Hot Press is thrilled to debut the clip for Bayonets' 'The Old Coast', which was directed by Trevor Murphy of Ten Thousand Hours productions, and features Vinnie Flynn, whose solo project it is, alongside talented actress Laoisa Sexton. There will be a second track and accompanying video from the Kerry multi-instrumentalist on March 16 in time for St. Patrick's Day.
"‘This Old Coast’ is a brooding tale of a man haunted and pursued by a mysterious female figure," Vinnie tells us. "The backdrop is a breath-taking view of the Irish sea and Georgian Dublin’s Henrietta Street. The spectral imagery complement the atmospheric feel, and leaves the viewer thirsty for the story to continue."
It does indeed! Hot Press previously premiered his debut single, 'Slow Burning Fire', which caused major ripples in the States where his music has featured on an assortment of primetime TV shows and in films.
Catch Bayonets live at the Window Seat Sessions at The Crow Bar, Dublin (March 8); Sin E, Dublin (31), and K-Fest, Killorglin (June 3).
