Hot Press Track of the Day: Ailbhe Reddy's 'The Tube'

Following a stand-out performance at Electric Picnic last month, Ailbhe Reddy released her new single on Friday, and it's been captivating us all weekend.

Debuting the single with Earmilk, Ailbhe explains: "'The Tube' is a song about having no explanation good enough for someone, so the only thing I had left to offer was the small gesture of walking them to the nearest tube station. It's a song about struggling to express yourself properly to someone, which I think is probably pretty universal."

The new single comes just a few months after Reddy released her Attached To Memory EP. The singer will also embark on an extensive Ireland & UK tour this month and next. See full Irish dates below.

Listen to 'The Tube' below:

Black Box, Belfast - October 18

Roisin Dubh, Galway - October 19

Cyprus Avenue, Cork - October 20

Whelan's, Dublin - October 21

See Ailbhe's website for more details.
