VITAL INFO
With so many great acts to catch, we've gone ahead and broken down all the vital info so you don't have to go digging around all kinds of websites.
Bus travel
Dublin Bus is operating a shuttle service from Parnell Square West, Dublin 1. Buses will be departing every 20 minutes each day, on Friday July 7 from noon until 8pm, Saturday July 8 from 10am until 6pm and Sunday July 9 from 11am until 4pm. Tickets from Dublin Bus 59 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, Tel 01-8734222 or Ticketmaster. Bus Eireann tickets are available at www.buseirann.ie. Remember: Oxegen gives buses priority and lets them leave an hour before any cars - so if you want to miss the traffic, leave your car at home.
Tickets & entry
Oxegen is sold out. Campers and two day ticket holders will be given wristbands in exchange for their ticket stubs, but there is no readmission for day ticket holders. The campsite opens on Friday July 7 and the arena opens at noon on Saturday July 8 and Sunday July 9. Oxegen is an over 18s event, and anyone under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Car parking
To park on site and get a car parking ticket you must have purchased a camping ticket in advance. Fans who purchase 4 or more weekend camping tickets together will receive a free car parking ticket. Follow signs to car parks and pay attention to the number of your car park so you can find your way back when you depart. Cars parked offsite will be towed. For the non-campers, Oxegen has introduced a Park n Ride shuttle service. Parking for day and two day tickets without camping will be located at Goffs on the N7. The car parking and shuttle service are both free.
Food & drink
There will be concession stands in the camping area that will sell a wide variety of food and drink. You are allowed to bring your own alcohol and other drinks into the campsite as long as they are not in glass containers, but it is not permitted to bring your own drinks into the festival area. Near the stages and entrances there will be every global food you could imagine, along with soft drinks, tea, coffee, smoothies, juices and hot chocolate. Water points are located around the site and you are allowed to bring in empty or unopened plastic water bottles to top up at the standpipes. Alcohol will be sold from the festival bars, but you must be over 18 and have Garda ID or your passport to prove it!
Sleeping arrangements
The campsite is only available if you purchased a weekend camping ticket, which allows you to camp from Friday to Monday and attend the festival Saturday and Sunday. There is no limit on tent sizes (within reason) and you must keep your camping wristband in tact in order to move between the main area and campsite. Without a camping ticket, you cannot camp.
