The Aftermath - Are You Not Three-piece rock act The Aftermath released their debut single 'One Is Fun' during summer 2006. It got to no11, got space on many radio playlists and had an eight-week stint on BBC DJ Chris Moyles' top unsigned bands chart. The band returned in October with 'Hollywood Remake'/'Need', and will release their debut as-yet-untitled album early in 2007. | |
The Beat Poets - Staring Stars Down Formed in May 2005 The Beat Poets' rise includes 'Staring Stars Down' and 'Bloodline' being playlisted on 12 Irish stations including Today FM were Tom Dunne chose the band as rising artist of the week. This coming November, the band will release their debut double A side single 'Turn It On' and 'Shadowlands' and embark on their second full UK tour. | |
Colm Lynch - Two Bullets And A Gun Colm Lynch is a native of Killiney in Dublin and has been writing songs since his early teens. Now in his twenties, Colm Lynch is set to bring his incredible talent to a mass audience through XCentury, part of Universal Music. The first single 'The Storm' was released in April 2006, with his debut album A Whisper In A Riot released in September to critical acclaim. | |
Cut - What Was Wrong With Us Cut hail from Tallaght, South Dublin. Formed in 2005, they have gigged the furthest reaches of the island and extensively in Dublin City. Their first recorded effort was a demo recorded in Ashtown Studios in Dublin. This demo won Jackie Hayden's 'Pick of the Fortnight' in Hot Press magazine and has had national and local airplay on many radio stations. | |

St Julien - Just Because In September of this year St. Julien released their debut single 'Just Because' which entered the Irish singles chart at No.14 after receiving rave reviews and being playlisted on 2fm. Their follow up single is due for release in February 2006 with an album to follow next summer. | |
Straglers - Baby Jane Straglers formed over a year ago and have spent the year gigging, writing, and recording their debut EP. The band were recently chosen as one of the 54 unsigned acts, from 24,000 entries, to play the prestigious In The City Festival in Manchester. Musically Straglers influences are varied and wide, bringing the energy that comes from dance music into their rock n' roll sound. |
