David Keenan continues his path to global domination as the cover star of our first Hot Press issue of the decade. To celebrate, we're bringing you all the behind the scenes action from the shoot.

In the video below, Hot Press photographer Miguel Ruiz discusses the inspiration behind the shoot:

"We were discussing the concept of nudity in his lyrics and his video – both metaphorically, and as an image in his work," Miguel says. "When we finished the shoot at the boat, that idea was stuck in his head. He liked the idea, and he thought we should give it a try."
