THE 12 PHOTOS OF XMAS: Christy Dignam of Aslan

The Hot Press team arrived at Christy Dignam's house back in October for the photo shoot - only to be informed by a bewildered Christy that no one on his end had told anything about it.

Running to have a quick shave while Hot Press' finest were treated to cups of tea from Kathryn Dignam and introduced to the family, this photo was eventually shot, with some improvisational skill on the part of Kathrin Baumbach, in Christy's kitchen against a black backdrop.

A follow-up portrait was taken in Christy's back garden, where his tough exterior is contrasted with his delightfully cute puppy!
