Alternative rock girl-band PowPig and folk artist Junior Brother gave phenomenal performances during their double headlined gig at The Grand Social last Thursday night. PowPig, a Limerick-based band comprised of teenagers Anne Marie Rooney, Andrea Mocanu, Laura Drennan and Leah O'Donnell, took to the stage first, playing songs from their multiple EPs to an enthralled audience.
