LateNight@TheRoyal ACOUSTIC PICNIC (Photos)

LateNight@TheRoyal kicked off last night with five incredible artists Andy Irvine, Wallis Bird, Brían Mac Gloinn, Gráinne Hunt, and Carsie Blanton sharing songs and stories in the theatre’s new ‘flipped’ stage venue. The opening session titled 'Acoustic Picnic' was an intimate affair with the quintet seated in a semicircle arrangement and as the spotlight moved from each artist they would introduce and sing one of their own songs. It was a perfect introduction to what promises to be an amazing weekend of creative collaboration.

LateNight@theRoyal is a new venture for the Theatre Royal Waterford collaborating with Turning Pirate, hosting five events over three nights with seven amazing artists. The entertainment continues tonight with Lisa Hannigan and Paul Noonan joining the party.
