Inside Uly's FaceTime photoshoot

Rafino Murphy breathes music in and out of his lungs as he speaks. He's an absolutely devoted multi-instrumentalist and founder of andfriends Records label as we could learn from the interview Uly did for The A&R Department, but he also works for one of the most important music stores in Dublin, providing other fellow musicians with gear that he finds very tempting himself (like the trumpet he proudly shows during our FaceTime call, probably the same one we hear on the beautiful ‘that’s no way to fly’ single).

Creative minds are open minds, so Uly was up for the idea of being surrounded by citrus on a chopping board or even hide inside wardrobe while I was taking photos lying on my bedroom floor. You’ll also have a peek of his home studio, the place where all the magic happens and where Uly spends his time making sound waves when he’s not surfing them.
