Just a couple of days before his gig with legendary musicians Bob Dylan and Neil Young in Kilkenny, Glen Hansard releases a music video for 'The Closing Door', a song from his latest album This Wild Willing.

The video features black and white animation that perfectly captures the eerie sound of the song. It begins and ends with hypnotising drawings of circles that figuratively draw you in. The lyrics are also taken quite literally as images of closing doors are shown.

In a Twitter post, Glen Hansard revealed that concept, animation, direction and production were all done by Croatian artist and film director Lucija Mrzljak.

On July 14th, the Irish singer-songwriter will join Bob Dylan and Neil Young for a concert in Nowlan Park Kilkenny.
