Aslan at Cyprus Avenue (Photos)

On a very emotional night, Aslan's Billy McGuinness, Joe Jewell and Alan Downey welcomed new lead singer Lee Tomkins on Friday night as they launched their new Irish tour at Cyprus Avenue. Being the first time on stage in over a year and since the passing of legendary frontman Christy Dignam feelings were palpable. But from the first cord that all too familiar Aslan sound coupled with an outstanding performance Tomkins made for a night to remember.

For the tour, the band also included Chris Hussey on Bass and Sean Furey on Keyboards. Support was from Ellyd.
