Wolf Parade announce a Button Factory gig and share new music video
A big day for the Montreal indie rockers with a gig announcement and new music.
Wolf Parade has announced a headline show at Dublin’s Button Factory on Sunday, 15 March 2020. The band also just dropped a new single, 'Against The Day', along with an accompanying music video.
The official video for the synth-driven song is the group’s first new recorded material in three years. The single, which features rare alternating lead vocals from Dan Boeckner and Spencer Krug, is available now on all streaming platforms via Sub Pop.
Directed by Scorpion Dagger and featuring an 16-bit contribution from Doctor Octoroc, the visual is a post-apocalyptic Wolf Parade listening party. 'Against the Day' follows the release of Cry Cry Cry, Wolf Parade's acclaimed album of 2016.
"One of the greatest things about this band is the sense of camaraderie that comes off on-stage," wrote Hot Press's Claire O'Gorman of their 2017 Button Factory gig. "They work together and play off each other as only great friends can. So thankful they put an end to the hiatus - we’re looking forward to seeing what they can do in the future."
Tickets for the Button Factory gig will be available here for €20.00 inclusive of booking fee, starting on Friday 18 October at 9AM.
