Whitney announce headline Dublin show
Check out their new single ‘Back To The Wind’.
Whitney have announced a show at The Academy in Dublin on February 21, 2026.
The folk rock/Americana group was formed in Chicago in 2015 by Smith Westerns guitarist Max Kakacek and Unknown Mortal Orchestra drummer Julien Ehrlich. The duo is set to release their new album Small Talk on November 7.
Whitney’s new single ‘Back To The Wind’ will be featured on Small Talk alongside the tracks ‘Darling’ and ‘Dandelions’, which were released earlier this year.
The band released their debut album Light Upon The Lake in 2016, which they performed at Coachella a year later. Following their breakthrough, the pair released three more albums: Forever Turned Around (2019), Candid (2020), and Spark (2022).
Whitney shared the album’s tracklist on Instagram, writing: “Find a space outside to listen with the ones you love <3”
