Watch: Yungblud is joined by Machine Gun Kelly and Bella Thorne on live-streamed show
The Hot Press 'Hot For 2020' artist shared a live-streamed gig to YouTube today.
In the face of major gig cancellations, Yungblud put on a show to remember today, via YouTube live-stream. The outspoken Doncaster artist, who was tipped as one of our international acts to watch for 2020, hosted his own audience-free concert and talk show – where he was joined by special guests Machine Gun Kelly, Bella Thorne and another one of our 'Hot For 2020' acts, Oliver Tree.

Since springing to international attention by showcasing his hip-hop-flavoured brand of pop-punk on collaborations with ex-girlfriend Halsey, Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly, there's been no stopping Yungblud's skyrocketing career trajectory. He recently spoke to Hot Press ahead of his headliner at Vicar Street, Dublin, in support of his The Underrated Youth EP.
"I’m not here to be a fucking squeaky clean, not-piss-anyone-off artist," he told us. "If I wanted to do that, I’d write a song going, ‘I love you so much, baby, I want to shit myself’. I’m here to bring together a community of people who can genuinely make a difference in terms of culture. I grew up on Nirvana, and you could compare the grunge scene to what’s happening now. People are pissed off again, because we’ve been spoon-fed this bullshit, watered-down music, art, entertainment, news and politics for so long. Now everyone’s like, ‘Hang on a second – what you’ve been telling me for the last eight years has been bullshit. You telling us to keep quiet isn’t going to happen anymore.’ It’s sick to see people riled up again."
