Watch: Waxahatchee releases video for 'Recite Remorse'

The video features the American indie singer surrounded by wavy, blurry lights, giving the appearance that she is under water. Her surroundings suit the ethereal feel of the song, especially when Crutchfield sings "I was out of my body."

The project is named after Waxahatchee Creek in the singer's native state of Alabama.

Waxahatchee is on tour throughout 2017, with a number of European shows scheduled throughout August and September.
