WATCH: U2 perform on a New York skyscraper
Top of the Rock, the band were on hand to welcome Jimmy Fallon to The Tonight Show.
A big occasion in US pop culture yesterday as the iconic late night NBC baton was passed from Jay Leno to Jimmy Fallon. The change in presenters also meant the show moving from the West Coast to New York.
Little known Irish beat combo U2 were at the centre of the action, taking to a stage atop the 30 Rock skyscraper to play new single 'Invisible'. Despite Bono looking ever-so-slightly-chilly, the quartet turned in a typically energised performance. Nice backdrop, too.

In studio, they were later interviewed by Fallon and also treated the audience to an acoustic run through 'Ordinary Love', written for the film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
