WATCH: Trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence

After 20 years, a sequel is being made for the acclaimed Independence Day.
In 1996, Dean Devlin directed a film about a group of people that gathered in the middle of the desert to plan their response to a massive disastrous alien attack. Now, years later, a sequel is being made called Independence Day: Resurgence, which details Earth's planned revenge to the alien attack. In the sequel, humans will uncover alien technology and resources in order to defeat their enemies.
The film will be directed by Rolan Emmerich and will star Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher and Maika Monroe.
It is scheduled to be released summer 2016.
