The first episode of the 2018, Velvet Mornings this week features 80s-styled rock band State Lights.

Velvet Mornings meets Shobsy from State Lights to have a chat about the release of their new powerful single ‘Peace will Come’.

'Peace Will Come' is an ode to hope in a world of uncertainty. It's video features images which reflect the turbulence of the modern world, finishing with cameo appearances from the likes of Liam Cunningham (actor) Patrick Bergin (actor), Gary Ringrose (rugby player), Guggi (Artist), Kevin Thornton (Celebrity Chef) Sarina Kajani (PHD student) and Craig Fitzgerald (The Academic), who hold up a banner saying their own banner saying, “PEACE WILL COME” with their name signed underneath.
