Watch: Roger Waters unveils video for 'Wait For Her'
The Pink Floyd bassist has shared a powerful music video for 'Wait For Her,' off his solo LP Is This The Life We Really Want?
The video features Waters and his band performing the slow, piano-driven track alongside footage of a flamenco dancer going through emotional anguish.
The woman is played by dancer and actress Azzura Cacetta, who also appeared in Waters' video for 'The Last Refugee.' Viewed together, the two videos seem to be stitching together a narrative, presumably of a woman who has lost her child.
The video's director, Sean Evans, told Rolling Stone the videos "are companion pieces, but are not meant to live in linear time with each other." He also hinted that they may expand the story with other videos.
Waters' album Is This The Life We Really Want? was released in June on Columbia Records. It is the Pink Floyd co-founder's fourth solo release.
