WATCH: New trailer released for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2

Over 10 years ago, My Big Fat Greek Wedding came to the big screen and now over a decade later, a sequel to the critically acclaimed film is finally here.
The second instalment to the first comedy movie will take place about 20 years after Toula Portokalos and Ian Miller's wedding. Now the couple has a teenage girl, who is planning to go off to college. There are also a couple of other surprises in store for the Portokalos family, especially when Toula's mother and father discover that their priest never signed their marriage certificate, so they are in fact not really married. This prompts the the families to get together for another highly anticipated big fat Greek wedding.
The movie will be directed by Kirk Jones, and will star Via Vardalos, John Corbett, Lainie Kazan, Gia Carides, Joey Fatone, Elena Kampouris, Alex Wolff, Louis Mandylor, Bess Meisler, Bruce Gray, Fiona Reid, Ian Gomez, Jayne Eastwood, Mark Margolis, Andrea Martin and Michael Constantine
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is scheduled to release March 25, 2016.
