WATCH: New trailer for upcoming Stephen Hawking biopic

The Theory of Everything details Stephen Hawking's university life, early relationship with his first wife Jane and battle with motor neuron disease.

Directed by James Marsh, the film sees Eddie Redmayne as the famous theoretical physicist, with his wife Jane played by Felicity Jones.

The film is set to premier at this year's Toronto Film Festival, followed by a November 7 release in the US, finally making it to our own screens on January 1.
