WATCH: Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato and More Commemorate the Victims of Orlando Shooting
This sobering video sees celebrities come together to commemorate those who lost their lives at the recent shooting in Orlando, Florida.
Jane Fonda, Sophia Vergara, Chris Pine, Kerry Washington are among several others who lend their voice and support towards petitioning to bring in commonsense gun laws.
The crime that happened on June 12 when a gunman entered Pulse Nightclub and shot dead 49 innocent people and injured 53 others was the deadliest incident of violence against the LGBTQ community in the US. Now, the Human Rights Campaign have gathered these celebrities to simply illustrate this tragedy by naming each of the 49 victims and giving us a slight insight into their everyday reality and who they were. The impact is both powerful and harrowing.
The aim of this video is to further the push to introduce Commonsense Gun Laws in the US. While 200 bills have been targeted against the LGBTQ community which are regressive and show disregard and contempt for people of that orientation. What shines throughout this video however, is that Love is Love and Love will conquer hate.
