WATCH: Josh Homme posts apology video to photographer he kicked at QOTSA concert
The singer faced heavy backlash after a video of him injurying a photographer at a concert went viral.
The band played a show in California at the weekend, during which Josh Homme's behaviour appeared to become increasingly unstable.
As well as deliberately cutting his own forehead and kicking the photographer, the singer also referred to the audience as "retards" and berated headliners Muse.
Kicking the camera of photographer Chelsea Lauren, the equipment struck her in the face leaving her injured. Chelsea Lauren posted her account online, and said that she would be filing a police report against the singer.
Josh Homme issued an apology online, and has now followed this up with a filmed statement in which he apologises directly to the photographer, his band mates, and his family.
Speaking earnestly, Josh Homme says "I was a total dick" and that "I don't have any excuse or reason to justify what I did..."
