WATCH: James Vincent McMorrow shares Rudimental collab 'Be Somebody'
The track's cinematic video is a feat in itself.
James Vincent McMorrow has teamed up with Rudimental for a drum and bass-inflected pop track called 'Be Somebody'.
The singer-songwriter, originally hailed as one of Ireland's most enthralling folk musicians, has remained relevant throughout his career by maintaining his innovative approach to music, expanding his range by moving into experimental R&B and electronic genres.
Now collaborating with UK electronic giants Rudimental, the artist is further exploring new soundscapes.
In an interview with Hot Press last year, McMorrow said: "I’ve always loved the music that I’ve made, but I’ve contorted myself quite a lot, to make music that makes me happy, while also making other people happy.
"Now I’m just trying to make myself happy! That’s a much freer place for me to be in, and it seems to be working – because not only am I much prouder of this music than other records I’ve made, but also, people seem to understand it."
