WATCH: Strangerland to hit Irish cinemas
The Irish-Australian thriller will release in Ireland in February
Irish film distributors Wildcard Distribution has acquired the rights to the Irish-Australian thriller, Strangerland, which will result in the imminent release of the film to Irish cinemas on February 6, 2016.
Directed by Kim Farrant, the film will feature a family of four who is new to the remote desert town of Nathgari. The two parents in the film, Catherine (Nicole Kidman) and Matthew (Joseph Fiennes), are thrown into turmoil, however, when they discover that their two teenage children have gone missing just before a tremendous dust storm hits the town.
Earlier this year, the film had its premier at the Sundance Film Festival and also played at the Galway Film Fleadh.
