WATCH: Irish short gets Oscar nod
Check out the trailer for the spookily good Coda.
Coda, a nine-minute Irish animation voiced by Brian Gleeson and Orla Fitzgerald, has been shortlisted for a 2015 Best Animated Short Film Oscar.
Previously deemed to be Best In Show at SXSW, it’s directed by Alan Holly whose previous short, Old Fangs, was shown at Sundance, and assembled by the folk at Dublin’s And Maps And Plans animation studio.
“A lost soul stumbles drunken through the city,” we’re told. “In a park, Death finds him and shows him many things.”
