WATCH: Halsey shares new trailer for 'If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power' film
The hour-long visual will serve as an accompaniment to Halsey's upcoming album.
Following last month's announcement of their latest studio album, If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power, Halsey has shared the trailer for a film experience of the same name.
Directed by Colin Tilley and written by Halsey, the hour-long film will be set to the music of the singer's highly-anticipated album, which is produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails. "This film is about the lifelong social labyrinth of sexuality and birth," a statement at the beginning of the trailer reads.
"The greatest horror stories never told were buried with the bodies of those who died in that labyrinth."
The film will also hit IMAX theatres late in the summer, with tickets going on sale August 3rd. Halsey's new album will arrive August 27th, and comes after their 2020 album Manic .
