Watch: Green Day fret over 'Troubled Times' in new music video
Billie Joe Armstrong sings the Revolution Radio track in front of his phone camera, as around him flash violent scenes from around the globe.
Footage from last weekend's clashes between white supremacists and protestors in Charlottesville, Virginia made it into the video. Images of Trump's tweets, as well as video from a speech he made to law enforcement in which he condoned police brutality appeared beside Armstrong as well.
The band shared a lyric video for the song with the same political tone back in January.
Billie Joe Armstrong took to Instagram after a show in Omaha, Nebraska on Sunday to respond to the events in Virginia. "I fucking hate racism more than anything," he wrote.
Green Day are well into a US tour which wraps up in September in Los Angeles.
