His forthcoming 'rock' album, recent TV appearances and his progression as an artist were all on the agenda.
As gregarious and opinionated as ever, Example sat down with Craig Fitzpatrick in the Morrison today for a chinwag ahead of his Arthur's Day shows. Already in Dublin a day and clearly loving it (as seen from the snap of him enjoying an early afternoon pint with his mate Prof Green), he talks about the buzz he gets from performing live, the inspiration he's taken from rock 'n' roll for his forthcoming album and why dance music now rules the roost, as well as the possibility of a career in stand-up, his cheeky childhood, and how he found it hosting Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
If you're not lucky enough to catch him live this evening, Example returns to Irish shores next year, when he headlines Dublin's O2 on February 21.
