Forget '11', the amps are on '12' as we form a socially distanced virtual moshpit for Cursed Murphy Versus The Resistance's brilliantly brutal 'Climb'.
“I came into the studio with a handful of words and a crude rhythm idea,” says lead ranter Peter Murphy. “Then Dan arrived and started spraying all over it like a tomcat. Six hours later we left with something that sounded like bits of My Bloody Valentine or Nine Inch Nails.”
He's not overselling it one iota. Joined by Dan Comerford, Rebecca Gangnus, Tamara Gangnus, Jasmin Gangnus, Kevin Dillon, and special guest Marc Hillis on the accompanying phone footage video, the John The Revelator and Shall We Gather At The River author and former Hot Press-er is clearly having lots of fun with his musical incarnation.
