WATCH: Courtney Love releases animated video
Courtney Love has released video trailer animated and voiced by Michael Mouris that rips into the Hollywood entertainment industry in a rather delightful way.
The pastel-coloured confusion is a re-envisioning of ‘Valley of the Dolls’ titled, ‘Valley of the Doll Parts’ and is a pretend movie preview with all-star line-up.
It starts out with Lindsay Lohan portrayed as a talented performed driven to destruction by her stage mother—played by none other than buttah-lovuh Paula D—then moves to a great shot of Lohan holding two big handfuls of meat (roast beef, that is).
Courtney doesn’t leave herself out of the fun/mockery, and she is pictured as ‘Corky’, a struggling Broadway legend who woofs down pretty little French macaroons meant to be symbolize pills.
Other stars and targets are Chloe Sevigny, Miley Cyrus and James Franco performing as the deeply mysterious and intellectual performance artist, James Franco:
“If the artist arts in the forest and no one is there to tweet it, did it even happen?”
We don’t know why or how this video came about, but we aren’t complaining. Bring on the jazz exercising Miley Cyrus’s, and we’ll keep watching.
