Watch: Coldplay pays respect to Chester Bennington at North America tour kickoff
Coldplay's Chris Martin played a piano-driven cover of Linkin Park's 'Crawling' during a show in New Jersey last night.
Martin said the song was dedicated to "anyone who's missing someone." He fudged the opening and went again, saying "I know this is probably going to end up on YouTube, so I've got to get it right."
Tributes from the music world have been pouring in since Bennington died by suicide last month. The singer was 40 years old. Linkin Park had been scheduled to perform in the same area days before Coldplay, but the tour was cancelled.
