WATCH: Brilliant Trees share comeback single 'I Know, I Know'
Feast your eyes on the first video back from the Dublin collective
It's some 23 years since Brilliant Trees first came to our attention, 20 years since their fabulous full-length debut Friday Night – and, indeed, some 11 years since the band announced a split.
But as anyone who still spins Wake Up And Dream, their seminal 1998 LP, will tell you, they've still got a heck of a part to play – which is why it's damn fine news that the band are now back in action.
Playing together for the past two years – hidden away from prying eyes, we hasten to add – the Dublin group now emerge with grand plans for a new album within the coming months, and a fine single to open proceedings.
The Grand Social having been comprehensively sold out for their comeback special last weekend, they visit the same venue once again on October 14; we'd recommend getting your skates on if you want to score tickets to that one!
Check out the long-awaited comeback video 'I Know, I Know' below.
