Venture to the future in the new Tomorrowland trailer

It's not quite Back to the Future but by the looks of the latest trailer, Brad Bird's Tomorrowland guarantees its share of futuristic thrills.

Featuring a mysterious pin that transports a young girl, played by Britt Robertson, from the present into the utopian "Tomorrowland" and George Clooney as a cynical former boy genius showing her the way, the trailer is (thankfully) spare on plot details and spoilers. All we need to know is there is some trouble afoot in the future.

Bird, who directed The Iron Giant, The Incredibles and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is an expert at merging action, humor and heart, so we're excited to see what's in store for his latest. Tomorrowland is out May 22.
