Vector Vovers

The ultra-reliable Soma stable has two top-class new signings on the go at the mo’ – one is Alex Smoke, and the other Vector Lovers. This debut LP is best described as ‘future alien funk’ – while not exactly purist, its roots are in the classic Drexciya electro sound but it’s all infused with an electronica-esque warmth. It doesn’t hit the mark on all accounts, but for the most part this is a winner.
