Van Morrison to Play Two Intimate Belfast Shows to Launch New Album
Van Morrison has announced two live shows to launch his 45th studio album Accentuate the Positive
Ahead of Accentuate the Positive's November 3rd release, Van Morrison has announced he will be performing two intimate live shows at the Limelight Belfast.
The two shows will take place on Saturday November 4th and Sunday 5th. It will be a fully seated performance.
Morrison will be performing a selection of tracks from the upcoming album.
Accentuate the Positive is a callback to the rock 'n' roll of Morrison's childhood in post war Belfast, drawing influence from the likes of Chuck Berry and the Everly Brothers. Indeed the lead single off Accentuate the Positive is Morrison's take on Johnny Kidd and the Pirates' 'Shaking All Over'.
The album features contributions from American blues guitarist Taj Mahal, vocals from Chris Farlowe and electric guitar from the late Jeff Beck.
Van Morrison's new album Accentuate the Positive is available for preorder here.
Tickets on sale Friday the 13th from Ticketmaster.ie
