Dublin's Dirty Epics are releasing 'The Cure' - the first single to be taken from their debut album - next week on March 7.
Punk pop band Dirty Epics - led by the sassy SJ Wai – will release 'The Cure' as the first single from their debut LP Straight In No Kissing.
The song has already got the Hot Press stamp of approval, as one of the winners of last year's HP/Tisch Competition, when the band won the chance to have a professional quality music video made for free.
'The Cure' single will be launched with an instore gig in Tower Records on March 7, and will be available to buy there, as well as in Road Records, Dublin and online at downloadmusic.ie and iTunes. The single also features a b-side remix by Star Little Thing.
Dirty Epics are also planning a promotional tour, with select dates featuring support from Travega. They play: Roisin Dubh, Galway (March 4); Tower Records, Dublin (3pm) (7); McHugh's, Drogheda (10); The Brewery, Monaghan (14); Urban Outfitters Party, Temple Bar (21); Tripod, Dublin (BT2 Show) (27); Stables, Mullingar (29); Cuba, Galway (April 4); The Button Factory, Dublin (April 24).
