UPDATE: Tom Petty has died at the age of 66

The singer suffered cardiac arrest and was taken to a Malibu hospital last night.

One of the most iconic and distinctive American singers, Tom had a career that lasted over 40 years and appeared to still be going as he had only finished his most recent tour last Monday. he will be sadly missed.
