United Airlines apologises to rapper ScHoolboy Q after flying his dog to the wrong city
Los Angeles rapper ScHoolboy Q arrived in Southern California on Friday to discover that someone else's dog had arrived with him.
The artist, whose given name is Quincy Matthew Hanley, took to Twitter in anger.
You guys r idiots @united HOW U PUT MY DOG ON THE WRONG FLIGHT???? I need answers
— ScHoolboy Q (@ScHoolboyQ) July 14, 2017
ScHoolboy Q had been flying from Missouri to Burbank, via a layover in Denver. His French bulldog puppy, Yeeerndamean, was accidentally mixed up with another dog and put on a flight to Chicago.
The infuriated hip hop artist told CNN that he planned to sue.
United Airlines, which has had a series of PR blunders this year, said in a statement that they had returned ScHoolboy Q's dog to him the same evening, apologising and offering the rapper a refund.
The rapper once said "only thing I got is my girl and my dogs." He has separate Instagram accounts for two of his dogs. Yeerndamean is the newest addition to the family.
