Underworld and Iggy Pop release new song, announce joint EP
With Underworld's Rick Smith having asked Iggy Pop to work with him while overseeing the soundtrack to Trainspotting 2, it seems like a collaborative force was born.
'I'll See Big' is Underworld and Iggy Pop's newest joint release, but an EP is also in the works. Teatime Dub Encounters will arrive on July 27, via Caroline International. The 4-track release is the “result of a few clandestine hotel room recording sessions,” according to Pitchfork, and was created in the weeks following the release of Iggy’s last album, Post Pop Depression.
