Trouble Pilgrims rise from Radiators ashes
Pete Holidai, Steve Rapid and Johnny Bonnie (from the Radiators From Space), along with bassist Paddy Goodwin and guitarist Tony St Ledger, will play The Workman's Club in May.
Following the sad passing of legendary guitarist Philip Chevron last October, his Radiators From Space colleagues respectfully decided to retire that band name for good.
The last thing Chevron – or anyone else – wanted, however, was for them to stop sharing a stage and playing together. With that in mind, Radiators Pete Holidai and Steve Rapid led the charge late last year for a Hot Press-attended gig in the Stag's Head under a new Trouble Pilgrims moniker.
Now we have news that Trouble Pilgrims will become a permanent arrangement. The line-up: Pete Holidai, Steve Rapid and Johnny Bonnie (from the Radiators From Space) with bassist Paddy Goodwin and guitarist Tony St Ledger.
The Trouble Pilgrims feature material from all of the Radiators From Space albums, classic cover versions as well as songs from Pete Holidai's solo album The Devil's Guitar in their live set.
They play The Workman's Club on May 3, with tickets priced at €12 from here.
