Tributes paid to Irish musician Graham 'Milky' Mitchell who has died
The young musician passed away unexpectedly at home
Tributes are being paid to Irish musician Graham 'Milky' Mitchell, who died on Thursday, February 20.
Mitchell's death was posted to rip.ie on Saturday, where it is stated that he died unexpectedly at home.
The Raheny native was a beloved member of the Dublin music scene, playing regularly at venues and open mics around the city. He had also released a number of singles, the most recent being February 2025's 'Who Came Up With Love'.
"Heart breaking news has come to light of the untimely passing of our great and dear friend and song cycle regular Graham Mitchell," posted Whelan's Song Cycle on Instagram." Graham or "Milky" as he was known to his friends was a shining light on the Dublin open mic and music scene.
"A super talented musician and songwriter but above all was an absolute gem and sweetheart of a person. He will be sorely missed by all his friends.we will no doubt be putting something together but for now we spare a though for his family and friends."
Comments listed underneath the tribute went on to describe Mitchell as a "beautiful soul" and "such a lovely person and such a passionate and great musician".
