Despite the uber-dodgy title (who in their right mind thought that one up?) this is a pretty interesting round-up of the lesser-known side of progressive house and tech-trance. Mixed by DJ Dobbs ‘in one take’ (good

man) it veers from the good (Bushwacka’s ‘Smashed’, Pocket’s brilliant ‘Smoke Signals’) to the bad (Grayson Shipley’s formulaic ‘Lucid’) to the decent (everything else). The inclusion of a drum-and-bass track at the end is an interesting touch. Worth checking if you’re sick of the same tracks on every other Trance!Trance!Trance! compilation.
