Track of the Day: Aimee Cuffe, 'Don't Forget'

Irish indie-pop artist Aimee Cuffe is back with an enthralling new single. Scintillating and magnetic, 'Don't Forget' is about moving away from home and the sweet-and-sour feelings that arise from embarking on a new journey while leaving loved ones behind.

Aimee has previously released music as part of the duo The Best Part and after deciding to pursue a solo career in late 2022 she has since been writing and recording her new music.

Following her debut single back in April '24, her latest track 'Don’t Forget' is an uplifting summer anthem that captures the bittersweet feeling of moving away from home, the excitement of adventure and the sadness of saying goodbye.

“Everyone I talk to is either moving abroad or all their friends have moved to Australia," Cuffe says. "I wrote this song when I was in the middle of planning my move away from home and I think it captures all the emotions we go through in that process perfectly. I really hope that it resonates with anyone who’s going through the same”

2024 is set to be an exciting year of releases for the artist and will see the release of the first tracks of her debut EP set for release in 2025.
