Track of the Day: JC Stewart's 'Like I Did'
The singer is building on an already busy 2018.
This year has already seen Derry man JC Stewart support Snow Patrol at their London headline gig at Islington Assembly Hall, as well as perform at a host of festivals across the UK and Europe including the likes of Live at Leeds, Where’s the Music festival in Sweden and Barn on The Farm. Earlier this year his track 'Medicine' received a widely positive response, having amassed over one million streams on Spotify.
The soulful singer-songwriter - who has worked with the likes of Nile Rodgers and Rudimental, and recently collaborated with Frank Walker - has added to this existing momentum with the release of his typically emotive new single 'Like I Did'. Written last year with Sam Merrifield and Phil Cook, JC Stewart has said the track is one of his favourites that he's done, and it's easy to see why with its anthemic vocals and powerful lyrics.
