Track of the day: Cliché by Paul Jenkinson
Paul Jenkinson's latest track is a jangly anthem to warm you up this winter.
If you live in Dublin, there's a good chance you're already acquainted with Paul Jenkinson's entrancing croon. Serving as one of the city's many talented buskers, he plays to those who pass by on the street and are willing to lend an ear. Just in time for the holiday season, he now graces us with his newest song 'Cliché,' a breezy and sentimental tune.
As evidenced by the crisp production and his next-level performance, Jenkinson transcends the label of 'busker'. Although it's not explicitly a seasonal tune, Cliché's jangly groove calls to mind the feeling of celebrating with family and the ones we love. The lead guitar carves out an infectious melody, and Jenkinson's charming vocals put the icing on the cake.
He's gigged around town at the likes of Workmans, where he's started to garner a growing cult fanbase. He's certainly an artist to keep on your radar.
