TOUTS sign publishing deal with Domino
The Derry punks sign to the label responsible for Arctic Monkeys
Derry band TOUTS have signed a publishing deal with Domino, joining the likes of Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys.
Irish band Villagers are also signed to the label.
They made the announcement via a Facebook post.
Having supporting the likes of Liam Gallagher, Paul Weller and Blossoms last year, the punk trio released their newest single ‘Asleep’ earlier this month.
“It wasn’t intentional to sound like a punk band,” said TOUTS frontman Matthew Crossan to Hot Press last year. “I do love the attitude of punk though. If you take the actual meaning of the word, you could say The Dubliners were punks, you know? It’s more about the attitude than the music of punk for us. We’re more of a live band than a studio band”
