Top musicians convene in Cork this summer

Cork's title as the EU Capital of Culture is set to become a reality for at least two weeks this summer when Brian Wilson, Al Green, Van Morrison and Nick Cave head a host of top performers for Live At The Marquee.

Taking place at The Showgrounds on Monaghan Road, the music and comedy events will take place between June 30 and July 17, with said marquee catering for a capacity of over 4,000 people.

Other acts on the extensive bill, which sees both Irish and international acts entertain the crowds, include Dwight Yoakam, Brian McFadden, Ronan Keating, Christy Moore and Paul Brady, with even more to be announced.

Tickets for the event range between €60 - €75, and are available at all usual outlets now.
