Tindersticks welcome David Kitt into the fold
Stuart Staples tells Hot Press how the musical alliance came about.
Stuart Staples has explained the process through which David Kitt has become a fully paid-up member of Tindersticks whose Falling Down A Mountain album opens their account with 4AD.
“It’s been ten years since we first asked him to support us, when Small Moments came out,” Staples tells Hot Press’ Peter Murphy. “He’d been around so much and supported us on the last part of the Hungry Saw tour, it was just a natural progression. He brought something different to the record, and it felt important.”
Read the full interview in the new issue of Hot Press, out now with the lovely Paolo Nutini on the cover.
